Non-destructive Testing of Steel Wire Rope in Weinan Jindui Reservoir

Weinan gate wire rope has been used for almost 10 years. This time, Baikert was entrusted to carry out non-destructive testing on its wire rope, mainly to judge whether the wire rope needs to be replaced. In the early stage, according to the data provided by the user, our company carried the detector to Weinan to carry out non-destructive testing service on the steel wire rope. However, after arriving at the scene, our technicians found out through on-site visits that the on-site situation was different from that provided by the user, so the test was not successful this time. But the two sides are negotiating other solutions.

This test was not completed as scheduled for the following reasons
First, the user's gate is arched and the distance between the wire rope and the arch is not enough to hold hundreds of kets of equipment;
Second, the user's steel wire rope is about 3 meters from the ground in the middle of the arch, and it is also in the middle of the reservoir to reach the arch by boat, and a steel pipe frame needs to be erected.
Third, the user requires Baikert to test all the wire ropes used for the gate, including about 5 meters of wire ropes on the winch. The whole rope is about 15 meters. After arriving at the site, visual inspection shows that there are three circles of wire rope on the winch that cannot be detected. One circle is about 2 meters. The height of the reservoir gate is about 6 meters. The tail rope head is fixed in the middle of the gate. Therefore, the gate position is about 3 meters that cannot be detected. There is a square hole under the winch. If the gate is closed, the rope is close to the wall and the equipment cannot pass, the distance is about one meter or so.
Based on the above, the hoisting machine is first started on site, and the actual effective stroke for detection is about 3 meters. If the hoisting machine does not move and the gate is closed, the effective stroke is up to about 5 meters if the hoisting machine is manually pulled by traction rope.
Fourth, the user's wire rope surface butter is very much, according to the user's requirements we can not detect it.
Finally, combined with the overall situation of the site, 100 keter service personnel to provide customers with a solution. Let the company that designs the gate remove the wire rope head, and then all the wire ropes can be detected. However, the specific solution is still under discussion.
