Corrosion not only reduces the breaking force of the wire rope, but also has a great influence on its impact resistance. The internal wear and internal corrosion due to its invisible to the naked eye, although we are concerned about it, but the degree of concern is far less than the broken wire, so we can not take effective protective measures in time. This is also the biggest factor leading to wire rope failure in recent years. Because there are many obvious and hidden unsafe factors that can not be avoided in the mine hoisting wire rope in China, a special imported wire rope nondestructive detector is needed to carry out regular inspection on the wire rope to ensure the safe and effective operation of the wire rope.
But the domestic wire rope detector fish eye mixed, all kinds. Some of them are not detectable at all. The equipment that can be tested also has the defects of poor repeatability, low accuracy and high misjudgment rate. And most of the instrument in the detection of broken wire can also play some role, but due to wear, corrosion and other factors caused by the determination of wire rope cross-sectional area loss is helpless. In order to ensure the safe operation of wire rope, the introduction or development of a reliable and efficient wire rope non-destructive testing instrument is of great significance.
In 2009, our company signed a technical confidentiality agreement with Russia's INTRON company to jointly develop wire rope detectors that meet the characteristics of Chinese mines, and share the relevant technical data and other software of the detectors. The core components of the detector such as Hall sensor and data analysis software are imported from INTRON. At the same time, INTRON company regularly appoints technical backbone to our company for technical guidance and personnel training, so that our company's technical personnel have mastered the essence and operation method of mine wire rope nondestructive testing technology. Moreover, under the guidance and help of Russian technicians, our company has set up a wire rope testing laboratory, which can test and analyze the bad problems of wire ropes in service. The use status of the tested wire ropes was carefully recorded and analyzed carefully, and a data file based on a single wire rope was established. During the testing process, the in-service wire ropes with bad defects were recorded one by one and imported into the file. At present, more than 150 coal mining enterprises in China have been tested, a certain amount of data has been accumulated, and a non-destructive testing database has been initially established.
Our detector uses the principle of permanent magnet and magnetic flux leakage. During detection, the wire rope is magnetized with a detector to magnetically saturate the wire rope. Then, the magnetic head wraps the wire rope and runs relatively uniformly at a speed not higher than 2 m/s. Any defects in the wire rope, such as broken wires, wear, rust, etc., will cause changes in magnetic flux or magnetic flux leakage, which will be captured by the Hall sensor, converted into electrical signals, and output intuitive analog signals, forming a wave that you can see Figure.
This rope is a sample rope that has been manually processed by us. This diagram is the waveform diagram after our detection. It has been amplified one to one. Any slight change on the wire rope can be intuitively reflected and corresponds to the defect position of the wire rope one by one. The wire rope detector has two main detection parameters: LMA and LF. The above curve is the LMA test results, focusing on the wire rope cross-sectional area of the defect degree. The comparison value is output by comparing the detection position with the reference position (I. e. the position of the maximum metal cross-sectional area in the wire rope, which can be the sample rope retained when the wire rope is hung, or the unworn section of the wire rope in service), which is a relative measurement value in%. The larger the value, the more serious the metal defect. Article 506 of the "Coal Mine Safety Regulations" stipulates that when the rope diameter of hoisting wire rope or brake wire rope is reduced to 10%, the rope diameter of tank road wire rope is reduced to 15%, and the wear amount of outer steel wire thickness of sealing wire rope reaches 50%, it must be replaced. However, the "coal safety regulations" gives the standard of quantitative scrap, but there is no qualified instrument to carry out accurate measurement in China. We introduced INTRON's unique wire rope detector technology to detect the loss of wire rope cross-sectional area to fill the domestic technical gaps, for the safe use of wire rope escort. The lower curve is the detection result of LF. LF represents local loss; focus on discontinuities in the wire rope, such as broken wires, serious corrosion pits, etc. At the damage position, a leakage magnetic field is formed, and a voltage signal is output, unit mv.
