(I) metal section loss measurement method
The essence of the metal section loss measurement method is to measure the change of magnetic flux. In the process of wire rope nondestructive testing, if the wire rope is in a normal state, the magnetic induction intensity of the wire rope belongs to a constant state. The product of the magnetic induction intensity and the cross-sectional area of the wire rope is equal to the main magnetic flux entering the wire rope. If the wire rope fails, the cross-sectional area of the wire rope changes, resulting in a change in the magnetic flux.
(II) local fault detection method
The non-destructive testing of the wire rope is carried out on the part of the wire rope. If there is a fault, the magnetic resistance of the local material increases and the magnetic conductivity is reduced, and the magnetic field will leak from the wire rope, resulting in diffusion leakage magnetic field flow loss.
(III) comprehensive detection method
The comprehensive detection method is to use the metal section loss measurement method and the local fault detection method at the same time. First, the loss of the wire rope is detected by the non-destructive detection of the wire rope, and then the local fault is captured.
(IV) optical method
Optical measurement requires the use of optical devices and the application of optical principles to detect the damaged part of the wire rope. However, this method needs to ensure that there is no pollutant in the peak of the wire rope, otherwise it will affect the detection results of the wire rope nondestructive detector.
