At the training meeting, Becket demonstrated the non-destructive testing technology of steel wire rope/steel core belt, and made a keynote speech on "steel wire rope life cycle inspection and maintenance", shared the "steel wire rope life cycle management platform" and the newly implemented industry standards, and actively responded to the call of the state to promote the construction of intelligent mines, causing widespread concern.

Pan Chuyuan, senior engineer of Baikete, introduced "GB/T 21837-2023 Electromagnetic Detection Method for Ferromagnetic Wire Rope" at the training meeting. As one of the main drafters of this standard, Beckett summarized the technical principles and calibration specifications of electromagnetic nondestructive testing of steel wire ropes by collecting and analyzing relevant technical documents at home and abroad, and comprehensively investigated the current situation and development of this technology, finally promoting the formal implementation of "GB/T 21837-2023 Electromagnetic Testing Method for Ferromagnetic Steel Wire Rope" on June 1, 2024.


The new version of the standard mainly makes the following revisions

1. The detection method of AC electromagnetic instrument is deleted;

2. Delete the principle of remanence detection;

3, enhanced equipment detection capability verification method.

On September 5, the leaders and trainees of the mine hoisting equipment training course visited Baikert for guidance.
